Ranked by Conde Naste Traveller as one of the best new restaurants in the world, Wasabi has established its Bangkok operation in a prominent spot above the renowned Q-bar on Sukhumvit Soi 11.

Wasabi is the creation of architect and designer David Lombardi, who lived in Japan for over a decade. Long having immersed himself in the traditions of sushi culture, Lombardi was inspired in 2001 to open his own sushi and sake lounges in Indonesia. The architect"s Bali establishment quickly became recognized as one of the best sushi bars in Southeast Asia—famous for serving only the freshest fish, best, rice and finest sake.

Lombard brings that passion for excellence to Wasabi Bangkok. The restaurant"s seafood is flown in twice a week from Japan"s legendary Tsukiji Market. And its sake list includes many of the rarest Hakkaisan sake brands.
