The LASIK Vision Institute Web site now contains detailed information on the laser technology and equipment, how the process is actually performed, what to expect in the days and months following the procedure and the results that can be achieved. "We really want to educate consumers about laser vision correction surgery so they have a full understanding of how it works, feel comfortable coming into one of our centers and are not surprised by anything," said Edwards.
