- MANASSAS, VA, January 24, 2007 — The dramatic increase in uninsured and under-insured patients poses a significant challenge for healthcare providers. At the recent South Carolina HFMA Winter Institute, hospital leaders listened carefully as Michael Berger, Executive Director of Revenue Cycle Management for AHC, outlined solutions hospitals and health systems can implement in order to meet their financial requirements when providing care to uninsured patients. This educational conference was held on January 11th and was attended by over forty individuals from hospitals and health systems, specialized healthcare providers, and sponsoring organizations.
