Photovoltaic Technology Show 2007 Europe

This year the first will take place at the M,O,C, in Munich from 4th till 5th April 2007. The organising company Solar Verlag Gmbh – the experts behind the magazines Photon and Photon International – expects several thousand industry experts attending on 10,000 m² floor space. More than 120 exhibitors will show their products and technologies during that event.

Solarcoating Machinery GmbH, the company which delivered the first 25 MW production plant for dye sensitized solar cells worldwide, will exhibit at the PV Technology Show and present their new and innovative Click & Coat ™ concept for pilot coating lines.

A new ScM Click & Coat ™ pilot coater could be assembled from a selection of over 25 modules that could be combined in a variety of configurations to deliver a pilot line to meet the demanding performance requirements.
That means that you have a pilot coating line with highest flexibility. Furthermore an enlargement of processes is much easier as well as attaining higher production speed or generally up scaling the pilot coater by lengthening coating processes or adding dryer modules in comparison to pilot coaters.
The generation “2” of the Click & Coat ™ system is also able to handle rigid or S2S substrates like glass or silicon cells.

One strength of ScM is the development of Click & Coat ™. Furthermore ScM designs and builds complete production lines for aSi, CIS, CIGS, organic PV including packaging, encapsulation and automation processes.
Therefor ScM has cooperations with several excellent machinery builders that are specialized in these processes. Additionally ScM is developing own processes to support the PV industry in the field of flexible solar.
ScM works closely together with the leading institutes and universities worldwide like VTT, TNO, ISE and others to provide scientific background on these new technologies.
