ScM - new cooperation with TSE Troller AG from Switzerland and FMP Technology GmbH

The concept of ScM is to build up a platform of experts regarding flexible R2R-PV, flexible electronics and handling of rigid or S2S substrates like glass or silicon cells.
ScM is now glad to inform that they welcomed two new cooperation partners on their expert platform, the company TSE Troller AG from Switzerland and FMP Technology GmbH.

With TSE Troller AG, ScM brought the leading specialist in the challenging industry of high precision coating dies for premetered coating applications for all kinds of coating on board. TSE has more than 45 years experience in manufacturing and design of high precision coating dies. For many years they have worked closely together with leading researchers and universities all over the world and still do so to increase steadily the quality and the efficiency of products coated with “The Troller Die”.

TSE dies are used for slide-bead coating, slot-bead coating and curtain coating processes. The dies are manufactured for coating widths ranging from a few millimetres to 4.5 metres and for a moderate temperature range up to 70°C. The dies are designed to meet each customer’s own specific requirements and optimized to satisfy the demands placed on the end product. They are manufactured with a fixed geometry and without adjusting elements.

The company FMP Technology GmbH was founded in 2001 as a spin-off company established through the Institute of Fluid Mechanics of the University Erlangen – Nürnberg. FMP embraces specialists and comprehensive know-how in the business area of coating and drying. FMP Technology GmbH is a specialist concerning certification of dies.

Among TSE Troller AG and FMP Technology GmbH, ScM works closely together with excellent machinery suppliers as well as with leading institutes and universities worldwide like VTT, TNO, ISE and others to provide scientific background on new technologies.
