Sir Alf, (born January 22, 1920 – died April 28, 1999) managed the England team from 1963 to 1974, with his greatest achievement coming when his team hoisted the Jules Rimet trophy at Wembley in the summer of 1966. He played football for Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur before going on to manage Ipswich Town, England and then Birmingham City.

Alan Ball (born May 12, 1945 – died April 25, 2007) was the youngest member of the ‘66 World Cup-winning team and was ‘Man of the Match’ in the final, following his performance. He played 975 competitive games for various clubs, including Blackpool, Everton, Arsenal, Southampton, Philadelphia Fury, Vancouver Whitecaps, Eastern AA and Bristol Rovers, notching up more than 180 league goals in a 22-year career.
